EXELS Industrial Solutions designs and builds materials handling equipment and the structures that carry it: jib and overhead cranes, mezzanines, lifting beams and machine pads. They take on the jobs other suppliers call difficult, such as low headroom bays, awkward loads and lifts from 10 kg to over 25 tonnes.
Founder Blair Stewart has worked in materials handling since 1990 and has delivered more than 1,000 custom solutions. Their principal engineer is licensed for civil, structural and welding work, so crane foundations, machine pads and structural changes come with P.Eng sealed drawings.
EXELS also writes and reviews Section 14 and 41 overhead crane specifications, installs Gorbel workstation and jib cranes, and supplies heavy transfer carts through its sister company, Transfercart.com. Based in Oakville, serving clients across North America.
